Composition:

Each 100 ml solution contains:

Phenylbutazone Sodium USP      5 gm

Bromhexine Hydrochloride BP   1 gm

Description:

Phenylbutazone is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) and cyclooxygenase inhibitor. It has analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic properties. Bromhexine is a benzylamine with expectorant properties. It increases the volume of bronchial secretion, modifies the pattern of muco substances produced by the secretory cells, reduces the viscosity of the mucus and increases the trachea bronchial ciliary activity.

Indications:

Phenbrox vet oral liquid is used in the treatment of Respiratory inflammation or Infectious disease such as rhinitis, laryngitis, tonsillitis, laryngotracheitis, bronchial pneumonia, sneezing, lacrimation, trachea irritation by live viral vaccines, clinical respiratory signs by vaccinal or field infections with ILT virus, general respiratory irritation, conjunctivitis and corneal opacity by dust or ammonia.

Dosage & Administration:

Poultry: 0.5-1.0 ml per liter of drinking water for 5-7 days.

Cattle, Buffalo, Goat and Sheep: 1 ml per 10 kg of body weight for 5-7 days.

Pet Animals: 1 ml per 5 kg of body weight for 5-7 days

Or, as prescribed by the Registered Veterinary Doctor.

Warning: Unused medicines with mixing water should be avoided after 24 hours

Contra-indication: Do not use for animals who have hypersensitivity to active ingredients and laying hens.

Withdrawal times:

 Poultry: Egg-5 days, Dairy: Meat- 2 days & Milk- 5 days

Storage: Protect from light, store in a cool & dry place and keep out of reach of children.

Presentation: 100 ml, 500 ml & 1 liter bottle.
